The trains of the Scandinavian countries never looked better against the wonderful Nordic scenery that they run through on this 12,000 kilometer journey through Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Beginning on the Danish North Sea coast, we visit two steam centers on our northward course to Norway via Hirtshals and Kristiansand. All the main routes in Norway and Sweden are shown as we zigzag from one country to the other. Oslo, Bergen, Tronheim, Lulea and Narvik are all visited as the journey takes us north of the Arctic Circle.
We then travel through Finland to its capital city of Helsinki before boarding the ferry to Swedish Stockholm. On our journey to back Denmark we experience the Railways and steam centers of southern Sweden before returning to Danish capital, Copenhagen.
