Visit the Famous Festival of Transport as we take a tour of the wide range of military vehicles on show. You can see…

- Diamond T969 ‘Wrecker’ – a tough 6-wheeled truck built to lift and tow disabled vehicles to and from workshops for repairs.

- Daimler ‘Ferret’  – an internationally utilized scout car small and fast enough for urban environments but also strong enough for rugged off-road terrain, which is still used in several commonwealth countries.

- Humber ‘Pig’ – an armored truck used by the British Army and by the Royal Ulster Constabulary during the worst of the troubles in Northern Ireland as a patrol vehicle.

- Willys US Army Jeep – a general purpose, personnel, or cargo carrier especially adaptable for reconnaissance or command. The iconic Jeep would go on to inspire a host of other utility vehicles.

- Daimler Armored Car – a small armored car for scouting and liaison missions, the Daimler incorporated some of the most advanced design concepts of the time and was considered one of the best WWII AFVs.

This is just a small selection of the all the beautifully restored and maintained military trucks, lorries, cars, motorbike, bicycles and tanks on parade.
